As part of a final project for a Music Theory Pedagogy class, I compiled what my professor (S/O to Dr. Stephen Rodgers) called a “toolkit” for teachers. I decided to make it a blog: https://musictheoryresources.wordpress.com/
It is intended to be practical, filled with advice for teaching music theory, but I am sure it could also be helpful for anyone teaching in any field.
There are five main categories: General Ideas, Incorporating Popular Music, Expanding the Canon, Technology in the Classroom, and Teaching Philosophy.
Let me know if you have any feedback or questions! The idea is to update it with new scholarship/resources every now and then.
